Pacamor Kubar Bearings has introduced new product enhancements that extend bearing life in high and low speed dental and surgical handpieces. According to the company's press release, the new bearings include higher quality stainless steel rings, new design features and specialty component materials developed for dental bearing applications. "Our goal is to provide a bearing that is forgiving under short term, lube-starved conditions until proper maintenance is performed," says Mike Selby, vice president of operations. Designs can be fully customized,from simple flanges to intricate lubrication grooves and o-ring housings.
